The TEA Recognized Maypearl Independent School District is located between Waxahachie and Midlothian in scenic Ellis County. The 84 square mile district consists of three campuses, Lorene Smith Kirkpatrick Elementary (PK-5), Maypearl Middle School (6-8) and Maypearl High School (9-12) and is home to more than 1000 students.

Lorene Kirk Elementary School

Students in Maypearl are privileged in that they are able to be challenged academically with dual credit and college ready class opportunities, physically with the wide range of extracurricular sports for male and female students and artistically through art, music and band programs without having to choose one over the other. We have a program to fit the needs and interests of your student.

 Maypearl Middle School

Maypearl ISD is a fiscally sound district, recently receiving the highest rating awarded to Texas schools in the FAST system. Academically, we have two Recognized campuses and one Exemplary campus and were recognized on the Academic Excellence Indicator System for our College-Ready and Recommended High School Program graduates.
We teach our students about citizenship, charity and compassion through our support of many national and local charities with food drives, blood drives, free clinics for vision and dental care and most recently, as members of the Rachel’s Challenge program.
